Who uses this app

Router Reset Watcher is a personal utility used only by its developer on their own computer and their own Gmail account. It is not distributed to or used by anyone else.

What data is accessed

The app requests the gmail.readonly scope. It reads message headers and text of recent messages from one configured sender, only to check whether a message contains a router-reset request.

How data is used and stored

• Email content is processed in memory on the owner's computer and is not saved.
• Only Gmail message IDs and timestamps are stored locally, to avoid handling the same message twice.
• The Google OAuth token is stored in Windows Credential Manager on the owner's computer.
• The app cannot send, modify, or delete email.

Sharing

No data is sold, shared with, or transferred to any third party. No data is sent to any server other than Google's Gmail API and the owner's own router on the local network.

Google API Services User Data Policy

The app's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Revoking access

Access can be revoked at any time from Google Account > Third-party connections.
